We invite students aged 9-12 who are new to the Ali Roberts Studio to enrol in the Youth Screen Acting 1 workshop. This workshop is a prerequisite for all other classes. This 10 week in-term experience is a fun filled term of improvisations, character development, friendships and confidence building. The workshop allows us to get to know each student’s individual abilities and make sure they will integrate comfortably into weekly classes.
For the 9-12 age group, this course runs EXCLUSIVELY as a 10-week In-Term Program. Classes run for 1.5hours over 10 weeks to ensure students retain all information effecitively.
ACTORS WILL
- Learn self-taping techniques for professional auditions
- Build screen acting techniques for Film & TV
- Create community through improvisation
- Begin their voice & accent journey with US Standard
AND
- Get the opportunity to chat industry with successful Ali Roberts Studio Alumni who have worked in local, national and international productions in Film & TV!
Parents and Guardians are invited to a showcase performance on the last day.
